The "No Human Power" Retreat and Conference

With an invitation to all of SAA, this Retreat/Conference is planned and hosted by Members of SAA from the SAA telemeeting community (see saatalk.info)–including SAA, SAA Family and Friends, COSA, & S-Anon–who regularly attend some of the same telemeetings from many locations in the U.S., Canada, and the World.   Visit www.nohumanpower.com .

WHAT:  An interactive weekend study of the Big Book’s Message and Steps. (see www.nohumanpower.com/schedule )

• All 12 Steps and 12 Traditions in one weekend. Opportunities to work face-to-face with your sponsor or to connect with a new sponsor.
• On the SAA side: Interactive Big Book-based Q&A Format to encourages exchange of insights for taking the Steps.
• On the Families & Friends side: Recovered sponsors will give an overview of the 12 steps using the Big Book.
• Fellowship! “We are not a glum lot.”

WHEN: Friday-Sunday, October 4-6, 2019

WHERE:  Dallas, Texas: The Atrium Hotel and Suites, DFW. 24-Hr shuttle service between DFW and hotel. No rental car needed. Visit the hotel’s website at www.atriumhotelandsuites.com

WHY: Members of the telemeetings join the calls from all points of the globe, but we rarely have an opportunity to meet in person. A location near a major airport makes it possible for many from distant locations to attend.

All of SAA is invited.  We would love for any member of SAA, their Families & Friends, including COSA and S-Anon who understands or wants to know more about the unique contribution of the AA Big Book to both our fellowship and our sobriety to join us.

• Conference Registration Cost: $55 through June 30th, $58 through July 31st, $60 August 1st to October 2nd. Also includes light meals on Friday night and for Saturday lunch.
• Optional plated dinner Saturday night $24, includes the (volunteer) “We Are Not A Glum Lot Talent Show”!
• Conference fees are fully refundable until Sept 1st and partially afterwards.
