Path to Recovery | |
My journey started like most, in denial. I was caught up in my own behaviors and it wasn't effecting my normal life, so it continued in the shadows and kept growing and progressing until a point I wish I could take it back. | |
A point in my life where I was so alone and depressed that I turned to talking to a "13" year old and taking a substantial step towards having sexual relations with this person. Both fortunately and unfortunately this never happened. I found myself being surrounded by cops and was sent to jail for 18 months, which I lost my 14 year long career in the military. Basically, struggling ever since my incarceration. It wasn't until I started recovery where life actually started to get better. It still isn't easy, but least its manageable to a degree. |
