Here is the info as of right now about the Seminar Weekend.
SAA seminars about the 12 steps and 12 Traditions following the directions in the Big Book of AA, featuring speakers from 12-step recovery
Friday, October 28 starting about 5 pm Saturday, October 29 all day Sunday, October 30 ending around 1 pm
Location: Camp Copass in Denton, TX
A van is being planned to provide rides from the airport for those coming from out of town. More info to come.
$125 per person – includes 2 night stay and 6 meals (Price increased from previously announced so that we can pay to fly in a speaker)
Open to men and women
Accommodations are hostel-style – a large number of bunk beds in a large room with a common bathroom. Guests are responsible to bring their own linens.
We need approximately $1500 within the next couple weeks to reserve the dates with the camp so we have them for sure. Therefore, if anyone would like to go ahead and pay for their registration or pay any portion thereof and pay the rest later, that would help us get to the $1500. This would be due by the 1st week of July If anyone would like to donate as much as $200 on top of their personal registration fee to help us reach the $1500, that would be amazing. (Because Tradition 7 instructs us that we are not to accept large gifts from any source, we have decided to limit the maximum donation for this purpose to $200.)
