Telephone conference meetings require you to dial a shared teleconference number and then enter the meeting access code when prompted.

If this does not give you access to the meeting as expected, it is worth double-checking that you are dialling the correct number and entering the correct access code. Sometimes numbers and / or access codes are changed by the scheduling team, so check the latest details by selecting the intended telemeeting from the list available under Find a Telemeeting and following the instructions under How To Join.

If the access code still fails, it may be that your telephone provider is not correctly transmitting the access code as you enter it. This can happen if they are routing your call via Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) even though you are using a landline. In this case it is worth contacting your provider and telling them that you are experiencing Tone Recognition Problems attempting to enter a telephone conference access code. Some members have found that their providers have subsequently re-routed their lines to avoid causing this problem in future.
