Benvenuto nel sito web dell’Intergroup Telemeeting di Sex Addicts Anonymous - SAA è un gruppo di uomini e donne che condividono tra loro esperienze, forza e speranza al fine di trovare libertà dai comportamenti sessuali compulsivi e di aiutare gli altri a guarire dalla dipendenza sessuale. Mettiamo strettamente in pratica l’anonimato, così che i nostri incontri siano un luogo sicuro per tutti. Chi incontriamo o quello che diciamo in un incontro è confidenziale e non è di solito condiviso o discusso con altri. Non siamo contrari ad altre forme di terapia o trattamento - offriamo soltanto la nostra esperienza, e tu sei libero di prenderla o lasciarla.

| Sexual anorexia, or compulsive sexual avoidance | My name's James, and I'm a sexual anorexic and addict. It's not so usual to hear people introduce themselves that way in SAA, so let me explain. Sexual anorexia (or compulsive sexual avoidance) is what got me into the Twelve Step fellowships that focus on sex. I had my first sexual experience with a woman when I was 25, a lot later than I would have hoped, and since that relationship broke up, there had been nothing apart from a few dates filled with terror. Some people may choose to wait to be sexual, but I didn't choose it that way, and I was utterly powerless over avoiding or sabotaging intimacy in my life, sexual or otherwise. I knew I wasn't gay, but I couldn't explain what the problem was. |
| My "S" Story | My name is Brooks and I am a Sex Addict. I've been coming to the "S" fellowship since 1995. My journey into recovery from sexual compulsion began with a psychotherapist who recommended I utilize a similar 12 Step program that helped me stay clean and sober in AA & NA. |
| Why I’m here… | I was arrested in November 2023. I then attended Keystone residential program for sex addiction for 42 days. I’m currently working with a sponsor with the Big Book through ssapp. I expect around a year of jail time. I hope to continue my recovery, if jail is Thy will, and work with other prisoner addicts. |

Cos’e’ la dipendenza sessuale?
La dipendenza dal sesso è reale?
La sessualità rappresenta una parte naturale, sana e autentica della vita. Essa può essere un'esperienza bella, felice e capace di consolidare un rapporto con un'altra persona. Come può dunque rappresentare una dipendenza? Forse chi si definisce dipendente cerca soltanto delle scuse per una propria mancanza di autocontrollo e autolimitazione? Non è solo che ami troppo il sesso?
Sono dipendente dal sesso?
Come per gli alcolisti, incapaci di smettere di bere, i dipendenti dal sesso sono incapaci di smettere i propri comportamenti sessuali auto-distruttivi. I nostri comportamenti sono fra i più diversi: masturbazione compulsiva, pornografia, avventure, sesso a pagamento o prostituzione, voyeurismo, esibizionismo, sesso non protetto, abusi sessuali e molti altri. Lo sfascio delle famiglie, le malattie sessuali e le altre conseguenze sulla salute, i dissesti finanziari, il licenziamento e i rischi per la nostra incolumità personale sono spesso i temi dolorosi delle nostre storie.

According to our traditions each SAA group should be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. Face-to-face groups pass the pot at each meeting and members are free to contribute as they can and as they see appropriate. This is not always possible in a telemeeting, however the telemeetings listed on this website have created a service board called the Telemeeting Intergroup to help them carry the message of the Twelve Steps of SAA to the sex addict who still suffers. Services provided by the Intergroup which groups cannot easily provide in isolation include:
